Why Am I Starting To Blog Now?!

There are various reason that I am starting this blog now:

1) When preparing for my trip this past summer, the group was warned against giving too much information on social networks about your current location or any plans you had.  While I did give some updates, I didn't divulge a lot of details.

2) I experienced A LOT(!) and I want to share it

3)  There are people in these pictures and videos that mean a lot to people I know.. to others, the pictures are repetative and tedious, so you can chose whether or not to look at them without me filling your newsfeed

4) Reflection.  I already miss this place.  I wasn't good at manually journaling every day and internet/electricity was not always readily available to me.  The memories are still (somewhat) fresh in my head so I want to document them before I forget.

I don't know how slow of a process it will be upload all the pictures and all the videos, but over time, it will happen!
